In collaboration with the STEMS team, UNINA will select appropriate leaching solutions based on literature and past experiments. UNINA will also develop adsorbents to maximize the yield and selectivity of Pt, Rh, and Au recovery. Additionally, UNINA will identify key sorbent characteristics for producing Au\/Pt-WDC, conducting experimental tests and modeling related to leaching and adsorption.<\/p><p>STEMS will contribute to defining leaching and adsorption conditions for formulating Au\/Pt-WDC. They will characterize and test Pt-based and Au-based catalysts received from the adsorption step, taking responsibility for catalysis. STEMS will also perform the thermal recovery of Au, Pt, and Rh from spent sorbets as part of thermal recovery.<\/p><p>Sustainability analysis involves comprehensive evaluation of the overall process proposed in the project.
